Hi guys, sorry I haven't been on for awhile. Its been pretty hectic around here. First Rowen and Kara found a vampire in the forest near our house, she had no idea what or who she was. So they brought her back to our lodge. I think it was very a reckless and stupid idea, especially for Kara, Rowen... :) not so much. Finn was hanging around her alot, she was very pretty I guess, but then again most vampires are...right until they bite your neck and drink all your blood. So anyway her team came and got her back, they weren't all that pleased. But thankfully they said they would not harm us because we (sort of) helped her out......Yah right they wouldn't hurt us, HA!!! We are stronger and faster than most vampires. Not to brag or anything :) .
We are also pretty busy because...ITS ALL MOST CHRISTMAS!!!!! It might not mean anything to you, but we have never (EVER) had a Christmas before. its kind of sad. :)
I have to go now but I'm wishing you all a merry Christmas!!

A day in the life of me, Xantha...
7:00- I wake up, get dressed and head strait for the kitchen,
7:20- in the kitchen Finn is up, making eggs and bacon (probably the reason I woke up), Rowen is already plowing his way through thirds,
8:00- After cleaning up from breakfast, I go and brush my teeth,
8:02- Wake up Kara,
8:30- Then, I search the lodge for Finn,
8:45- Finding Finn on the PS3, I ask him what I should do, he said "clean the house", then he laughed and said, "we need some more eggs, flour and milk,"
9:00- I tear Rowen away from the highlights of last nights hockey scores(I mean you watched it once, last night, when I wanted to watch a movie, that we were going to stream, but nooo) By the way, the Maple Leaves lost 5 to 2 to the Penguins,
9:30- We land (yes, we were flying) behind Mac's Milk convenience store,
9:32- In the store we could only find 2 things on our list, milk (we bought 3 bags, which should last us about 2 days) and eggs, but they were really expensive for a carton of six,
9:40- We buy our bags of milk and asked the cashier where the nearest grocery store is. she said (her exact words) "Oh, you head up to the 401 and you just keep on it 'till you get to Prescott, its just behind the McDonalds, beside the Canadian Tire, you got that all dear? That will be 14.37 hon'.",
10:06- We found the store the cashier mentioned,
10:30- We purchase our eggs (two 18 packs-for you brainiacs out there, thats 36 eggs in total), and flour,
11:15- At the lodge again, Kara comes and helps me put the groceries away, while Rowen wanders off and finds Finn(who is still playing on the PS)
12:00- LUNCH, which is ham sandwiches made by yours truly,
12:45- I shower,
1:09- done my shower, I'm dressed and I've blow-dried most of my hair,
1:11- I flop on the couch and doze off for awhile,
2:05- I'm woken up suddenly, by Rowen getting chased by Finn, full speed though our little lodge. right to our back door, where Rowen snapped his wings out and took to the air laughing like a maniac. Finn is shaking his fist after him and calling him a...I won't repeat it on the Internet. I found out later that Rowen had painted Finn's nails one of Kara's many shades of pink, while Finn was napping,
3:00- I turned on the PS and started playing Batman Arkham Asylum,
4:30- Turning off the PS, I decide I should check and see where the gang is. Kara was in her room reading her history book on ancient Greece, Finn was on the couch still trying to scratch the colour off his nails, I told him that Kara probably has nail-polish remover, and he was like "That dirty little rat, he's not going to get away with this!!", don't worry he always says that. he will cool off soon and they'll be the best of friends by tomorrow. Rowen was up on the roof laughing to himself for his best escape yet,
6:00- Supper is spaghetti made by Rowen and Kara,
6:30- We all clean up after supper and go to our rooms to put our 'uniforms'(black leather jackets, black pants, running shoes)on, getting ready for a recon mission.
7:00- We are all in the town that Rowen and I went to, to buy milk this morning, and started to walk around town,
7:55- We stopped at a park near a public pool, and then I heard a gruff laugh, whipping around, I came face to face(well really face to shoulder) with a vampire, whose muscles looked like they had muscles, I mean, this guy was huge! I was like, "Gaa!!! When did you get there?!?!?!" and he was like "Heh, we've been waiting for you guys." and Then he just disappeared, can you believe that?! He just vanished into thin air!, I looked over at the others, "Did you see that?!?! I didn't even hear him come up behind us!", every one was a little freaked out, so we decided to head back home,
8:20- Back at home, we all sat at the kitchen table while Kara pulled out the Cherry Cheese Cake that Finn made this morning, out of the refrigerator, it was pretty good, but I couldn't help but wonder why that vampire said 'we', he was the only one there. When I asked the others, Finn said "I don-no, maybe he was hearing voices or something," even if that were true, he still creeped me out,
8:40- Typing this this out one the PC,I never noticed how sort of busy my days are...
After that I went to bed, I forgot to post this so I'm posting this now,

Someone posted a really good idea. Here are the answers to your questions....
Tell us about your history-how you came to be.- My history....hmmm where do I start? I was an orphan when Lyn found me. I don't remember much though....I was only 5 years old at the time. Lyn was my 'parent' in many ways after the experiment that changed my, and my teams, life forever. You are probably wondering 'why in the world would you actually let someone who did that sort of thing to you be like your parent?!?!', but the truth is I'm happy I have wings, having my wings enabled me to be in the team. My team is my family. Lyn was not one of the scientists though, She was only my teacher and caretaker. Lyn died 3 years ago, in her sleep. she was only 67. I'm glad she died in her sleep though, not from a heart attack or anything.
How you met the others?- Rowen, Kara, and I were all in the same orphanage but Finn was in a boys' home. I met, well we met, Finn in training. He had the hardest time controlling what he had become...He hated what they did to him, they made him have the DNA of the bad guys. Just to remind you all Finn is NOT a bad guy he is like the big brother/leader of our group :).
Where do you live? Ummm, here, there, everywhere, it depends. We usually stay in North America, but one time we went to Bolivia, it was soo beautiful...For the, what type of building/house/place do we live in?, question. We live in a lodge like thingy the forest. But some times we just hang out in a old non-used house(you know the type with bored up windows?).
Do you have jobs-that pay? No, not really. All though I did work at Dairy Queen once, I soooo didn't like it. The manager lady made me put my hair in a hairnet, but my hair was too long for it, so she told me to CUT MY HAIR!!!!!! Can you believe THAT?!?!?!?! Any way, we usually make money from the wallets of the Vampires that we bring under house arrest, we call it freak arrest haha its kinda rude but its true. I know you are all most likely thinking THIEVES!! But really, where do you think the Vampires get the money?
Do you have adults that you answer to? Well ya in a way. But also in a way, no. We have our PC as our teacher, though we do get these Huge-and boy do I mean Huge- tests, how huge you ask. They are usually a full binder, one of those 2" ones. We also 'answer to' the head guy, we call him the principal, of the whole 'Institute' where we were 'made'. To tell you the truth most of the scientist are scared of us, well mostly of Finn, because he threw one guy across the room(fortunately he only broke his collar bone), but he only threw the guy across the room because that dude had the nerve to sneak up behind Finn and tap him on the shoulder. Ok, ya I always do that, but it just freaked him out.

Sup dudes and dudettes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm back!! You now how Rowen wrote that blog post? I think I shall do that for you guys too. I know thats totally cheap and it is ripping him off but I'm sure he won't mind :)...so here it goes...
Hi my name is Xantha, I'm 15. I have long strait(it is sooo strait, that if I try to curl it it just flattens back out in a matter of 15 minutes) black hair that goes to my waist. I have very 'intense' blue eyes according to Kara.
As you already know-if you have been tracking with my blog(if not then scroll down!!)- I have bat wings, yes I can fly. The cool thing about our-Rowen and my- wings is that they sort of fold in into our backs really tight, were you can't see them, which is really convenient when we are trying to blend into a crowd. My favorite songs are 'Sweet Sacrafice' by Evanescence, 'Moving To Seattle' by The Material, 'Photograph' by Nickelback, and 'Move Along' by All American Rejects. Right now I am wearing a blue tank top, a black leather jacket, black pants and black converse all-stars, ya, it is pretty much the same wardrobe as Rowen, but to tell you the truth we all wear the same type of clothes, black leather jackets, black pants, black shoes :). My fave food is RIBS, they are awesome!!! My fave colour would have to be either blue or black.

Hi umm Rowen here, Xantha wants me to write on her blog 'cause she is kinda busy studying right now. So here it goes...
Sup? My name is Rowen, I'm 15, I have red hair(that I love to spike up in the air), and green eyes(in which apparently Xantha thinks are cool). I have black bat wings, just like Xantha. Hmm, lets see. Right now I'm wearing a black t-shirt, a leather jacket(black), a pair of black pants, and converse all-stars(you guessed it black). My favorite food is...PIZZA! With lots of mushrooms, peppers, onions, bacon, pepperoni, the works. Man just typing that out makes me hungry, just a sec be right back, Oh Ya thats better, just went and grabbed myself a piece of pizza leftover from last night, it was Sooo good!! My favorite songs are 'Move Along' by All American Rejects, 'Saturday Night' by Nickelback, 'The Middle' by Jimmy Eat World, and 'I Wear My Sun-Glasses at Night' by Corey Hart. My favorite colour is Black..uggg we all saw that coming, ahaha, I also like dark red. What else? I AM SOOO PUMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We, the team and I, have just warmed up, jogging, boxing, jumping-jacks, crunches, push-ups, that sort of stuff, while listening to blaring Nickelback CDs. Getting ready to go beat up some Shadow Creatures! Hmmm...you still don't know what a Shadow Creature is. Well, they are these black-ooze thingies. They can shape-shift, in the dark they look alot like humans but as soon as sunlight hits them, BAM! they start to disappear. Umm, I'm not the best person to ask. You know what? I'll ask everyone to pitch in. :) I'm smart, haha anyway here you go...
Kara: Shadow Creatures are very unique. They have the ability to morph, Shadow-travel and learn incredibly fast. They are and look alot like shadows hence the name Shadow Creature. Their capability to morph is, so far, limitless, but their morphing 'powers' are a bit rough around the edges. They, the ones we have encountered, mostly took the shape of humans. Like Xantha wrote, the Shadow Creatures start to fade when sunlight touches them, but they don't disappear completely they more of shrink back to a dark alleyway or somewhere where the sunlight will not reach them. Shadow-Traveling is interesting, also, but I cannot explain it as well as Finn is able to, so I am going to hand it over to him.
Finn: Ya, so, ya, Umm Shadow-Traveling right. Because I'm part Shadow Creature I am able to Shadow-travel. It is pretty fun but it takes alot of concentration to do it, so I can't entirely do it in a fight or when I'm maxed-out or else I might lose a limb or something. If there is a shadow where I want to go, I am able to get there, no shadow means sorry bud looks like you'll have to do it the hard way. :) Shadow Creatures have an easier time Shadow-traveling than I do, most likely 'cause they are completely SC where as I'm only part.
Rowen: What they said. Sorry I'll be more talkative..er..writative? Mainly the only thing I know about Shadow Creatures is, they are a pain in the butt. Plus they are fun to fight with. They aren't the type who talk a lot. Infact I've never heard any of them talk but I'm pretty sure they understand English 'cause when ever I start to down talk one of them (heh heh in which I do a lot) they start to get annoyed, and how do I know that? They start to attack me! Anyway thats pretty much all I have.

I'm back,sorry I left early-well early for me- last night. I'm going to tell you a little bit more about my self and the others who are with me in this.
In case you are wondering what 'The Shadowlings' are, they-we-are a group of 'creations' put together by the scientists who made us to rid the world of Vampires and Shadow Creatures. Our group consists of four kids-me, Kara, Rowen, and Finn.
Kara-is a year and three inches shorter than me. Her name means 'Pure'. She is 14, she has blonde hair that she has recently cut to her shoulders. She has really pretty long-lashed brown eyes. She doesn't have wings but she has this way with animals, she is also really smart. She can move inannimate objects with her mind...If that doesn't creep you out, keep reading.
Rowen-is my age;15. He is 5'8 His name means 'Red Haired' which is totally convenient for him 'cause his hair is red, and he likes to wear his hair wispy and kinda wild(and its usually sticking up in the air). He has these really cool green eyes. He has bat wings just like me.
Finn-is 16 years old and 6' tall. (I know what you are thinking he should be able to drive but,really, the only one in our group that knows how to drive properly is Kara) His name means 'Fair' which is weird 'cause his isn't fair at all, he has Dark brown hair and Dark brown eyes, the only fair thing about him is his skin!! He is like some sort of weird hybrid between a person and a Shadow Creature. Being like that means he can Shadow-travel which is kind of annoying some times. He doesn't have wings.

Ummm Hi...
Hi, Ummmm welcome to my blog I guess...Well I guess I should umm Tell you a little about myself.
My name is Agent X,or Experiment #37, but I prefer Xantha it means 'Blonde' which is totally ridiculous if you ask me because my hair is totally black !!!!!!!!!!! I have these really creepy eyes too, they are like super super icy blue, my caretaker Lyn-I will tell you about her later- always said 'they stare into my very soul...' whatever that means. I'm 5'5 and and my hair goes to my hips. And one thing I don't have in common with any one on earth is, I have wings, yah you heard...read right, 6 foot long( that is a 12' wing span) black, sleek bat wings. I know most of you are probably throwing what ever interest you were holding away but I'm telling the truth. Sure most of you have probably read the Maximum Ride Series, I have and I'm surprised how close to my reality that series came, but I'm not like Max or Fang or any of those guys, yes I was 'created', and yes I have wings , but I was made for a different reason than them. I was created to take out Vampires. Yah Vampires, there always there you know, I'm surprised that most of you don't notice them.
